But remember, that’s full price, and this is 1500 Wii Points. It even has three sequels, though the only one that stays true to the original’s roots is Rumble Blast for 3DS. With a simple premise, addictive gameplay, and polygonal but charming visuals, this makes for a unique Pokémon experience for anyone looking for simple fun. Your toys can’t level up or evolve, but at random your attacks will let you add the toys to your collection, each of which has a unique level and set of attacks. The fighting consists of up to two buttons, but the button-mashing gameplay is oddly addictive for what it’s worth. You play as a collection of chibi Pokémon toys and go through levels fighting and collecting other toys until you’re strong enough to fight a match in the Battle Royale. Of course the WiiWare was destined to get a simplistic Pokémon spinoff, and boy is this one a neat choice. We got the short end of the stick with Pokémon on WiiWare (Japan got freaking Mystery Dungeon games that never went overseas), but for my money, this is one of the most underrated Pokémon games ever released. Definitely not for everyone, but for those into management kinds of games, its quite enjoyable! Now, 1500 points is a tad pricy, especially with the 2500 points worth of DLC (I’m not sure whether it’s still accessible with WFC and all), but it’s still an interesting enough game to keep you invested if you want a light-hearted experience. There’s just something satisfying about strolling through the towns you’ve rebuilt, and the growing population of people who enter them provide you with money for keeping them happy. I know a management game like this seems a bit weird for a FF game, but it still does hold up on its own legs. But this neat little Crystal Chronicles game has a much more interesting city-building gameplay style, where you play the role of a young king working to rebuild your kingdom or, rather, send out people to do that while you take part in urban planning. You could certainly do a lot worse for 500 Wii Points, and since this game will just be a relic of history soon, do yourself a favor and get flexing.įinal Fantasy spinoffs like this can be really hit or miss I know this because we did get a huge miss on the Wii with Chocobo’s Dungeon. But it’s also a work of art it signifies the weirdest of Japan’s video game library, and it’s also pretty hilarious as well. It sounds like Wii shovelware, and whether it is or not is for you to decide, but it’s kept wildly entertaining by that extreme Japanese charm you’d be lucky to get your hands on these days! He bashes through walls while making certain poses, and you use the Wii Remote and Nunchuck to match the pose he makes to slip through the walls and continue chasing him. You play as one of several buff men chasing after a thief who steals your muscle milk. Probably the most famous game on this list, you’ve probably seen it in action from YouTubers like Pewdiepie and Vinesauce Joel, and for good reason: it’s one of the weirdest games you’ll ever play.
